Welcome to Abberley Preschool!

At Abberley Preschool, we provide a warm, nurturing, and joyful setting where every child is truly valued. Our child-led, play-based approach inspires creativity, confidence, and independence, helping each child develop a lifelong love of learning. We believe children thrive best when they have the freedom to explore, imagine, and discover at their own pace.

Located in the heart of Abberley Village, in the charming Village Hall and surrounded by beautiful Worcestershire countryside, our preschool offers daily outdoor learning experiences, including nature walks and seasonal activities. We welcome children from age 2 years to school age, offering both funded early education places and flexible sessions for families seeking high-quality childcare and early years education. We are open during term time only, following Worcestershire school term dates.

To enrich our curriculum, we regularly invite visitors, plan exciting local trips, and maintain strong links with the wider Abberley community. We also work closely with local primary schools to ensure smooth, confident transitions when children are ready for the next stage of their educational journey.

If you’re looking for a local preschool that combines a caring environment with a focus on children and their development, that offers outdoor learning, lots of creativity, and strong connections with the community, we’d love to welcome you for a visit!

We've seen such a positive transformation in Joseph

Joseph has been part of Abberley Preschool for the past 10 months, and in that time, we’ve seen such a positive transformation in him. The nurturing and supportive environment created by the staff has made a real difference in his development and confidence. Every member of the team is fantastic — always approachable, full of positivity, and dedicated to making learning fun and meaningful for the children. The children themselves are a real credit to the nursery, which speaks volumes about the care and guidance they receive. We feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of the Abberley Preschool community and are truly grateful for the experience.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Abberley Preschool

I have to say what a wonderful preschool this is! The most amazing staff who always make the boys so welcome and always have enough time to interact and help him develop in all the right areas. Nothing is too much trouble for them to do and you always get the feeling they love what they do. I would have no hesitation in recommending Abberley Preschool to any parent who is thinking of starting their child at a preschool. This one is clearly streets ahead of the rest !!
